How Can I Help
![]() GuideOn needs your help to provide support for children who are experiencing the unexpected loss of a parent killed in the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars. The following list offers examples of ways you can assist in a child’s life as they cope with these losses. Business BrigadeGuide On has launched a new Sustaining Partners campaign that will enable our organization to continue to provide quality events and camps to the children of fallen military servicemen and women. You are invited to take part in this unique sponsorship opportunity. Whether you are part of a small business or a major corporation, you can find a level that suits your giving plans. Our goal is to have 100 businesses pledge $100 dollars per month in what we are calling the “Business Brigade”. Just this small amount guarantees sustainable funding for Guide On. We’d love for you to be a part of our organization! Please download the pdf to find out more about the Business Brigade and other giving levels that might suit your company better. Also, see what benefits your company can receive in return for your pledge commitment. Please pass this along to your co-workers, friends, church, and other businesses you feel would want to be a sustaining partner for Guide On. Fund Raising ItemsAre you looking for a significant piece of American history for your home or office? We have United States Iraqi mission flags that are available. These 3×5 American flags have been flown in battle in Iraq and are accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity. The air mission commanders sign the certificate upon safe return. The flags are in-cased in a mahogany finished shadow box. Please contact us if you are interested. Sponsoring a little hero might mean providing financial assistance to attend a GuideOn summer camp session OR providing airfare/air miles to attend a camp session or special event, OR provide a child with the necessary equipment to participate in a community sports program. top Support Our MT OfficeVolunteer with GuideOn |
“I didn’t realize how important Guide On was until my daughter attended the summer camp in Montana. Guide On gave her the outdoor adventures her dad would have taken her on. She spends the whole year talking about how much fun she had, and how she cannot wait until next year. I didn’t realize until after my Marine husband died that people actually cared about us, and what happens in our lives after a military death. Thank you James and Kristie!” Michele Linn |
